Kellie martin is an American film, television as well as stage actor. Her most famous parts include Christy Huddleston (Christy) as part of the period show Christy'; Rebecca Thatcher (Life Goes On); and Lucy Knight ("ER") in the medical drama ER". Her other roles of note include the lead role in her role in the Hailey Dean Mystery series. Born to a department store owner as well as a teacher in kindergarten, Martin started her acting career in the age of seven years old when her aunt who worked as an nanny to Michael Landon's children, assisted her in landing an appearance in the 1982 show "Father Murphy". Following her graduation of Yale University, she took acting more seriously, and eventually landed important roles on the small screen and the big screen. Martin is also an artist and photographer. The mother of two daughters, she's the Lupus representative and promotes awareness about the condition daily since the loss of her sister, who was age 19.
